Education

Education is more than knowledge. It can help people broaden their future prospects and seize new opportunities. But in many parts of the world, access to education is still far from guaranteed. Schools are often too far away, practical training is rare, and basic health or hygiene knowledge is not always available. Many children support their families with daily work instead of attending classes.

The DERTOUR Foundation tackles these challenges directly. Together with experienced local partners, we create learning environments and practical training opportunities that help people discover their talents and build independent livelihoods. We empower people to become more self-reliant, shape their own futures, and broaden their educational and career horizons – for themselves and their communities.

Our mission is clear: empower people to help themselves. We strengthen individuals so they can make their own choices, build long-term independence, and expand their horizons –  for themselves and their communities.
