Education is more than knowledge – it opens doors to freedom, opportunity, and self-determined living. But in many parts of the world, access to education is still far from guaranteed. Schools are often too far away, practical training is rare, and basic health or hygiene knowledge is not always available. Many children support their families with daily work instead of attending classes.

The DERTOUR Foundation tackles these challenges directly. Together with experienced local partners, we create learning environments and practical training opportunities that help people discover their talents and build sustainable livelihoods. Our programmes – particularly in tourism and hospitality  – offer real prospects for professional development and a brighter, more independent future.
