Founded in 2014, the DERTOUR Foundation e.V. is the non-profit organization of the DERTOUR Group. With more than 100 years of history, the DERTOUR Group is an international tourism company and today forms the travel division of the cooperatively organized REWE Group — one of Europe’s leading retail businesses.
It all began with a vision: the founders of the DERTOUR Foundation believed in the power of travel. They saw tourism as a way to enrich and improve the lives of people in destinations around the world – while at the same time protecting animals and natural habitats for future generations and empowering local communities to realize their full potential.
As a global company, the DERTOUR Group embraces its responsibility toward people and the environment in the destinations where it operates – supporting sustainable development and meaningful change.
